As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
Owing to its multidisciplinary nature, the Journal recognizes that different areas of study would have preferred styles for presentation, citation and referencing. The following structure is recommended as a general guide as it caters for most. Abstract and Keywords An abstract is a summary of the whole paper. It should include problem to be studied, objectives, methods, results and conclusions. Readers often decide on the basis of the abstract if they want to download / buy the full papers. An abstract therefore, should be able to stand alone. It should not include references. Usually abstracts are written after the paper has been written. Any Abbreviation/Acronym must be written in full first time it is used, followed by abbreviation in brackets. Thereafter, abbreviation can be used.
Keywords are used for indexing services. An online example of these services is Google scholar. Carefully choose about five key words. Don’t make them too general (e.g. remote sensing, mapping, etc.). Introduction Do not assume the reader has read the abstract. Introduction should explain the background to the problem/piece of research being considered, how others have studied it, how you have gone about researching it. Introduction should be at right scientific level for your audience. Not too general, not too detailed.
Theoretical/conceptual framework
This gives an abstract generalization that systematically explains the relationships among the phenomena studied as well as the concepts and their relationships. These should be arranged in a logical, interrelated manner that permits new statements to be derived from them. Where models are used, the symbolic representations should be clearly shown

CJOMS accepts academic and scholarly reviews of articles and books in areas shown in its aims and scope
Study area:
Location of study site needs to be clearly given so that anyone, anywhere in the world can see where it is (e.g. location map, co-ordinates for Google Earth) Procedures & Methodology In procedures, describe what and how you actually did your research. How did you process/analyze your data? Give sources and details. Did you collect data yourself, or obtain it from other source? The methodology gives the overall/general/approach to solving the problem you have researched. Results and discussion of results First present the results, then discuss the results. Discussion should include section on errors in your results, accuracy assessment, significance of results, potential practical applications (if any). If results are negative, explain possible reasons: e.g. data used, methodology adopted, procedures applied, analysis techniques used, or other suspected reasons. Conclusion This gives the new information/discovery/advancement of knowledge resulting from your research. It should NOT be a summary of the whole paper. It could also highlight the policy/research implications of your findings References Ensure that all in-text citations are included in the References section. It is important that all material borrowed from other sources are duly acknowledged as required by law. The journal accepts any of the international recognized styles
